Works for me, and free is a very good price. Good thing is, that the prompts, are all the same, (unlike QCad) and the toolbars are pretty much the same too. I had to find where a few things were on NanoCad, like how to tune dimensioning, and how to plot views or plot to pdf.but it's all doable. I opened files, and things like dim's & arrows were scattered all over. That was my first concern. The same was not true for all the others I tried, including TurboCad, which is not free. dwg files, without corruption or distortion. Not as good as Draftsight or AutoCad, but it opens all my old and new. I am now using NanoCad Free, and, it's free forever. So now, with Draftsight ending tonight, I looked into alternatives, free ones, and some free trials, and tested several. That's a shame, because LT 2004 is a perpetual license. When I switched to Win7, my AutoCad LT 2004 could not go with it. I have been using Draftsight, since they came out with the first beta. So, they must be a higher gauge to maintain a proper balance. The copper wire for the grounding has to be at least 2 AWG in diameter to give the maximum voltage.Īluminum has low conductivity levels and is more vulnerable to heat and corrosion. The ground wires take up the excess electricity from the power surges and help them flow through the ground rods. Ground wires support us by creating an alternate path for the current to flow when any short circuit occurs. One point is scored for each built card within Columns starting with a King. All Columns must contain at least one card before more cards can be dealt from the Stock. When a full sequence of King through Ace in the same suit is arranged within a Column, it is removed from the layout (tableau.)Įmpty Columns can be filled with any single card or packed sequence of cards. For example, in a sequence such as the 5, 4, and 3 of Hearts, the 4 and 3 may be moved away from from the 5 of Hearts so that it can be played to any other 5. Sequences may be split apart once formed. However, an 5 of spades, and then a 4 and 3 of Hearts may not move as a unit because they are not all of the same suit. As an example, a 5, 4, and 3 of Hearts may move to any 6. Also, cards of the same suit and in proper sequence can be moved to another Column provided the above build rule applies. The fully exposed card of each Column is always available to move. But it may become necessary or advantageous to build the opposite suits at times. However, you should prefer building cards that are of the same suit, since that is the goal. ColumnsĬolumns are built DOWN in ANY SUIT. The DealĢ-Suit Spider uses two decks (four sets of Ace through King in Hearts, and another 4 sets in Spades. The goal in 2-suit Spider Solitaire is the same as in most other Spider games: Arrange eight sets of cards from King down to Ace in the same suit directly within the Columns. It is nowhere near as difficult as regular Spider, but it still makes you work for the win. Spider 2-Suits strikes the perfect balance.
Users can also add text captions to describe photos. After an event or trip, Photos will group some of the photos together and suggest creating an album with them, alongside maps to show geographic travel and location pins for exact places. In June 2016, Google updated Photos to include automatically generated albums. Google stated that the primary reason for retiring Picasa was that it wanted to focus its efforts "entirely on a single photo service" the cross-platform, web-based Google Photos. On February 12, 2016, Google announced that the Picasa desktop application would be discontinued on March 15, 2016, followed by the closure of the Picasa Web Albums service on May 1, 2016. Unlike the native Photos service within iOS, Google Photos permits full resolution sharing across Android and iOS platforms and between the two. Users can also save photos and videos from shared albums to add them to their own, private collection. The recipient "can join to add their own photos and videos, and also get notifications when new pics are added". Users pool photos and videos into an album, and then share the album with other Google Photos users. In December 2015, Google added shared albums to Google Photos. By leaving the social network affiliation, the Photos service changed its association from a sharing platform to a private library platform. Google+ offered photo storage and organizational tools that surpassed Facebook's in power, though Google+ lacked the user base to use it. Google launched the social network to compete with Facebook, but the service never became as popular as Facebook for social networking and photo sharing. Google Photos is the standalone successor to the photo features previously embedded in Google+, the company's social network. Google reports as of 2020, approximately 28 billion photos and videos are uploaded to the service every week, and more than 4 trillion photos are stored in the service total. It reached 100 million users after five months, 200 million after one year, 500 million after two years, and passed the 1 billion user mark in 2019, four years after its initial launch. Google Photos has seen strong user adoption. Nevertheless, privacy concerns were raised, including Google's motivation for building the service, as well as its relationship to governments and possible laws requiring Google to hand over a user's entire photo history. Reviewers praised the updated Photos service for its recognition technology, search, apps, and loading times. Google Photos received critical acclaim after its decoupling from Google+ in 2015. Photos automatically suggested collections based on face, location, trip, or other distinction. In May 2017, Google announced several updates to Google Photos, including reminders for and suggested sharing of photos, shared photo libraries between two users, and physical albums. The computer vision of Google Photos recognizes faces (not only those of humans, but pets as well), grouping similar ones together (this feature is only available in certain countries due to privacy laws) geographic landmarks (such as the Eiffel Tower) and subject matter, including birthdays, buildings, animals, food, and more.ĭifferent forms of machine learning in the Photos service allow recognition of photo contents, automatically generate albums, animate similar photos into quick videos, surface memories at significant times, and improve the quality of photos and videos. Users can search for anything in photos, with the service returning results from three major categories: People, Places, and Things. The service automatically analyzes photos, identifying various visual features and subjects. Users can expand their storage through paid Google One subscriptions. Users can upload their photos and videos in either quality setting, original or compressed (photos and videos up to 16 megapixels and 1080p resolution, respectively), that will count towards the free storage tier (compressed items uploaded before June 1, 2021, along with items uploaded via Pixel phones released before that date, are unlimited). Google Photos shares the 15 gigabytes of free storage space with other Google services, such as Google Drive and Gmail. It was announced in May 2015 and spun off from Google+, the company's former social network. Google Photos is a photo sharing and storage service developed by Google. What it lacks, though, are advanced tools for developers. Firefox’s speed rivals some of the best browsers available, using less memory and other Windows resources. Some architects/designers will specify the vertical grab bar on their drawings just to ensure that it is not a comment from the city. One of the the most common one is the vertical grab bar. The IBC makes reference to the ICC/ANSI A117.1 and some cities will use it while performing their plan review prior to issuing a permit for construction. While it does follow the Department of Justice's 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design, there are some differences. The ICC is the same organization that puts out the International Building Code or IBC. ADA Grab-Bar Code requires clearance of at least 12 inches over the grab bar, and 1 1/2 inches under clearance under each bar. A grab bar at least 36 inches long should also be installed behind the toilet on the rear wall. It is another accessibility code standard. Toilets need to have horizontal bars behind, and next to them, and a vertical bar in front. The vertical grab bar is only specified in the ICC/ANSI A117.1 Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities. However, you will often see them while in a toilet room or in the accessible stall. The ADA Standards require horizontal grab bars on the rear wall and side wall of the water closet, but it does not specify a vertical grab bar. Grab bars are required in accessible toilet rooms. |
